Another Summer, Another Charity Event

Another summer, another charity event for the Rathcormac Gun Club (R.G.C.).
This year “Team RGC” have partnered with the Irish Heart Foundation and the Mercy Hospital and have a team of 9 members taking part in the “Bike and Hike” which consists of an 80km cycle from Cork City to Killarney followed by a climb of 3405ft to the summit of Carrantuohill. The event will be taking place on Saturday the 16th of July. Not content with one charity event this year, 5 members of “Team RGC” are also taking part in the 180km Ring of Kerry Cycle, which is a combined fundraiser for 7 charities, including the Irish Kidney Association. This year’s event follows on from the success of previous Rathcormac Gun Clubs charity events which have included fundraising St Patrick’s Hospital, Fermoy, and Temple Street Children’s Hospital.
