Cork City Marathon In Aid Of St. Patrick's Community Hospital, Fermoy

Members of the Rathcormac Gun Club took part in this year’s Cork City Marathon and succeeded in raising €3474 for St. Patrick’s Community Hospital, Fermoy

The formal handover of the cheque took place in the hospital on Monday the 12th of July 2010. Chairman of the Rathcormac Gun Club, Colman Howard said the people of Rathcormac and surrounding areas were well aware of the excellent work being done in Fermoy Hospital and he went on to say that the response to this fundraiser by locals was outstanding.

For his part chairman of St. Patrick’s Community Hospital Fundraising Association, Mr Tom Higgins thanked Colman and his colleages for undertaking the venture and he assured them the beneficiaries of their efforts would be the patients of the hospital
